Bournemouth portrait photographer – sunset shoot at Hengistbury Head and night shoot on Bournemouth Pier   Last night Russ and I went to Hengistbury Head to shoot with our model Tamara Bangura at sunset. It began raining an hour or two before and we weren’t holding up much hope of a good sunset and , however we were very pleasantly surprised as the rain stopped and the sunset turned out to be beautiful! After that we went to Bournemouth Pier to do some night portrait shots. Tamara braved the cold for us and put up with Russ and my directions! for 2-3 hours! At one point when Tamara was up on the top of the rocks, I was photographing sitting on Russ’ shoulders….the perks of being the smaller half of a two photographer team! Family Portrait Photography Bournemouth at Sandbanks Beach We were recently joined by Debbie and her family for a fun family portrait photoshoot on Sandbanks beach. The family were in high spirits despite it being an early 9:30 start so as to avoid the beach being too busy due to the bright Summer weather. Debbie’s sons had been out the night before until 4am and were feeling a little the worse for wear however they were still happy to run down the beach and get in the sea when we asked them to do so! Debbie brought the quite elderly family dog and a new full of energy puppy to the shoot too. Family Portrait Photographer Bournemouth – with Kayleigh and family We recently had the pleasure of photographing Kayleigh with her lovely young family in Bournemouth. We began indoors where we took a couple of photos of the family and some shots of Kayleigh and her son on their own. Unfortunately it was raining hard that day and we really doubted that we would be able to go to a good location to get some outdoor shots (which we always try to do as there are so many beautiful places in Hampshire and Dorset where it’s possible to get some lovely photographs). We tried a couple of times as it seemed like the rain was easing off, but then it would start again and we didn’t want to subject the family to a miserable photo session in the rain as that’s no fun for anyone! Then, suddenly, there was a dry spot, so we all quickly jumped in the car and made a dash to Coy Pond (as it is very nearby to us) for some location photographs. Portrait photo shoot with Victoria and her son We had a lovely portrait photo shoot with Victoria and her son. It was a cold day, but the pair wrapped up warm and we went out in the garden for some portrait photos! Victoria was as glamorous and elegant as always and her son was charming and full of mischief! Wedding Photography Bournemouth with Viola and Stuart

Wedding Photography in Bournemouth with Viola and Stuart: Recently we had a wedding photoshoot with Viola and Stuart at St James Church, the Carlton Hotel and Coy Pond. Polish Viola and English Stuart looked gorgeous in their wedding outfits and although the February weather outside was freezing and rainy, the couple were beaming with happy emotions. The day began at St James Church in Pokesdown and then we went with the couple to the Carlton Hotel in the centre of Bournemouth. We suggested to the couple that, if the rain held off, we should nip to Coy Pond and take a few location shots there. Viola and Stuart agreed and while the weather was dry we spent about half an hour there. It was cold, but the couple didn’t seem to mind and we made sure they had coats on whenever we weren’t actually taking pictures. We had to be very careful not to get any mud on Viola’s gorgeous white dress, but Viola and Stuart were great to photograph as they were up for some fun, including blowing bubbles and Stuart giving Viola a piggyback! A very quick portrait photo shoot with the lovely Olive: Yesterday we went to a networking meeting with Olive in Southampton. Olive is a friend of ours and she had previously mentioned to us that she wanted a couple of casual, informal head-shots / portrait photographs done which she could use for her avatar picture on her websites and on her marketing material for her various businesses. As we were going in one car with her to the networking event, we thought we’d take the camera with us in case we got enough time after the networking event to go somewhere scenic and take a couple of good portrait shots for her. Olive is a busy lady and has a very tight schedule so by the time we got back from the event in Southampton, we only had about half an hour before Olive had to leave for another meeting and, unfortunately it was pouring down with rain outside, thank you very much British weather! Portrait photography shoot with model Jade in Poole, Dorset: We recently had a lovely portrait photography photoshoot with gorgeous model Jade in the forest in Poole, Dorset. The weather stayed dry, we had a hint of sun and although it was January, Jade braved the cold for us! We are so lucky in Dorset and Hampshire as we have so many places of beautiful and striking nature and you don’t have to go far to find one of these. With Jade, we went to a little place in Poole, which is very popular with dog walkers and people out for a stroll. The place has many different aspects to it, such as bright, yellow, sandy areas, wide green landscape and shadowy forestry areas thick with pine trees, all of which make fantastic backdrops for a portrait photography photoshoot. Although the area is not far off the main road, it is very muddy so we were all in our wellies or hiking boots until we got to the shooting location, where Jade got changed into her heels! Location shoot with model Katrina in Poole: Today we had a great location portrait photography shoot with model Katrina in Poole, Dorset.
