The Connaught Hotel Bournemouth Wedding Photographer – Kris and Natasha’s wedding
In July we photographed Kris and Natasha’s wedding at The Connaught Hotel Bournemouth. The couple booked our full day wedding package, under which we work as a two photographer team for the full day and evening. The couple received in total around 900 photos from the day, but below is a very small selection.
In the morning Russ and I split up so I could photograph the bridal preparations (Natasha and her bridesmaids were getting ready at her mum’s house in Poole) and Russ could photograph the groom preparations (Kris and his groomsmen were getting ready at his and Natasha’s flat in Bournemouth). I photographed the girls having their make-up and hair done, having some fun in their dressing gowns, the bridesmaids receiving their gifts from Natasha, some boudoir style photos for Natasha as she was getting into her beautiful dress and some bridal portraits in Natasha’s front room and garden. Russ photographed the groomsmen getting ready at the flat, taking some groom and best man portraits and then took the groomsmen into the surrounding woodland for some group portraits.
The couple then arrived separately at The Connaught Hotel Bournemouth ready for the wedding ceremony. After the couple were married, the guests made their way into the hotel garden area for drinks and the formal and group photos. The couple made their entrance into the garden area under a shower of confetti!
The newly-weds and guests then made their way to another part of the hotel for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Even the bride, Natasha made a speech.
After the wedding breakfast, we were able to steal the couple away for an early evening couple portrait photo shoot on Bournemouth Beach.
We then returned to the hotel, where Kris and Natasha had their first dance. The guests then took to the dance floor wearing their glow in the dark props provided by the couple. The newly-weds and their guests enjoyed sparklers outside and Natasha also shared a dance with her father.
