Family Portrait Photographer Bournemouth – with Kayleigh and family We recently had the pleasure of photographing Kayleigh with her lovely young family in Bournemouth. We began indoors where we took a couple of photos of the family and some shots of Kayleigh and her son on their own. Unfortunately it was raining hard that day and we really doubted that we would be able to go to a good location to get some outdoor shots (which we always try to do as there are so many beautiful places in Hampshire and Dorset where it’s possible to get some lovely photographs). We tried a couple of times as it seemed like the rain was easing off, but then it would start again and we didn’t want to subject the family to a miserable photo session in the rain as that’s no fun for anyone! Then, suddenly, there was a dry spot, so we all quickly jumped in the car and made a dash to Coy Pond (as it is very nearby to us) for some location photographs. Portrait photo shoot with Victoria and her son We had a lovely portrait photo shoot with Victoria and her son. It was a cold day, but the pair wrapped up warm and we went out in the garden for some portrait photos! Victoria was as glamorous and elegant as always and her son was charming and full of mischief! Children’s birthday party at Giggles: We had a really fun time photographing for a children’s birthday party at Giggles Four Kids, 25c Elliott Road, Bournemouth, BH11 8LQ. Giggles is a family owned, modern soft play centre for children aged 0-10 with two soft play areas. The birthday party itself took place in a separate room, where there was a long table laid out with a bright red and white polka dot table cloth and which was decorated with party hats and blowers for the kids. The birthday boy celebrated his birthday in style! The children ate burgers and chips before the Giggles staff brought out and presented the birthday boy with a great big cake. Strewn around the room were lots of presents too. All of his friends came for the party to help the birthday boy celebrate! His little brother was there also and we got a lovely photo of him peeping through the door to see what was going on as his dad held him in his arms. Family portrait photo shoot with the Laure family at Bournemouth Upper Gardens: A crazy but very fun family portrait photoshoot with the Laure family in Bournemouth town centre. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side, but we managed to keep dry for half an hour and the energy of the four boys really brightened our day! We met with the Laure family at Bournemouth Upper Gardens near to Bournemouth Town Hall and due to the bad weather (it was pouring with rain for most of the day), although it was a Sunday, it was fairly quiet there. Their four boys, however, soon made up for this and kept everyone on their toes! The four young boys, two of which are identical twins were full of energy and, just like typical young kids, were much more interested in running around the beautiful and spacious gardens and playing rather than posing for a portrait photography session! J So it was our job as the photographers to make sure no one hurt themselves or got lost and to gently persuade them to pose with mum and dad for at least a couple of good pictures so that everyone could go away from the shoot happy.
